The Dreamers project is an ongoing series of photographs that explores what people of different ages want to be when they grow up if they could be anything.

Dreamer – Laura
“This is about finally having the courage to just be myself without being anything with a label or even wanting to become something that’s ‘important’ and just being human.”

Dreamer – Steve
“There it is, you’re here and now. No!
Now you’re here. You’re now.
Here we are. Right here. Here and now.
Time. The time of your life.
Life. The time of your life.
Another beat. Another drumbeat.”

Dreamer – Cassie
“I want to be in the circus.”

Dreamer – Brendan
“He was this really raw character that never followed the rules but always ended up on the right side of things.”

Dreamer – Ashley
“I want to fuel their souls and free their souls.”

Dreamer – Leah
“That’s where the food’s at.”

Dreamer – Elody
“This is still what I am and what I will continue to be.”

Dreamer – Julia
“There are so many women that are just… they’re afraid to say that they’re beautiful.”

Dreamer – Jim
“I never really felt that I could put my livelihood on teh line risking it as a profession.”

Dreamer – Sherry
“I’m just going to enjoy looking and knowing what a beautiful life I have lived.”

I love your project, very nice ^_^. May I write about it on my Tumblr blog?

Have a nice day! Thanks

The apparent simplicity of these photos is remarkable. Their compositions are striking. They are fun and evocative. Really incredible.
Thank you for sharing.
your show at the Elk Creek was wonderful! as i said before, i love lov elove the way you chose titles for them. you should put the titles with the images online, even though you also included the audio, because you chose the quotes for titles so well and it would draw more attention to that phrase in the audio.
